隐世窥红尘
[yĭn shì kuī hóng chén]
It implies observing the mortal world by staying away from it or retreating. Here the term red dust (红尘) indicates the busy and noisy secular society filled with all kinds of temptations. Meanwhile, 隐世 shows a wish or act to withdraw or seclude oneself in a way similar to a hermit, which is very popular concept in Chinese Taoism or Buddhism, signifying getting far from the vanity world to attain inner peace and spiritual enlightenment.
