相濡以沫不如相忘江湖
[xiāng rú yĭ mò bù rú xiāng wàng jiāng hú]
Inspired by Zhuangzi’s philosophy, it conveys a preference to forget each other kindly rather than struggling to stay together when apart or in difficulties. The Jianghu here refers to the outside world beyond normal social circles.
