仙女不迷人
[xiān nǚ bù mí rén]
The term '仙 (xiān)' means immortal, and often refers to beings in traditional Chinese mythology, literature, and legends who are considered enlightened, having supernatural abilities. Here it describes someone with a mysterious and elusive charm or demeanor that is otherworldly. But the phrase also includes an irony or self-effacement: this ‘fairy’ isn’t trying to be dazzling; she has a gentle grace and understatement.
