情自控心难控
[qíng zì kòng xīn nán kòng]
'情自控心难控' can be roughly interpreted as 'emotions that are self-controlled, but the heart isn't easily controlled'. There are times where one may consciously regulate what they express or display towards others, especially in relationships. But regardless of outward behavior and rational control one applies to feelings, it still feels difficult if not impossible sometimes to really manage what our heart yearns or reacts toward.
