奈何桥上她在哭天堂路上他在笑
[nài hé qiáo shàng tā zài kū tiān táng lù shàng tā zài xiào]
In Chinese folklore, the Naihe Bridge is located between the human world and the underworld. 'Crying on the Naihe Bridge' symbolizes people having unfulfilled wishes before death; whereas the other half expresses happiness moving on to heaven, creating a dramatic contrast that could mean the opposite outcomes after life of two different individuals or the two sides (joy & sorrow) co-exist in reality.
