猫爱吃鱼不会游泳我喜欢他总得不到
[māo ài chī yú bù huì yóu yŏng wŏ xĭ huān tā zŏng dé bù dào]
In literal English, this means 'The cat loves to eat fish but cannot swim; I like him but can never get him.' A rather metaphorical expression of unrequited love: just as cats generally don't swim even if they like fish, so does he always remain fond of the other one who can't return his feelings.
