烈酒情仇
[liè jiŭ qíng chóu]
'Liejiao Qingchou' can be translated as intense liquor, passionate love and deep hatred. This conveys a dramatic image of someone living a life full of strong emotions: loving deeply, hating fervently and perhaps drinking intensely to deal with these emotions. The contrast of passionate love ('qingshou') and strong hatred ('qing chou') is starkly represented here.
