Cold Prostitute or Courtesan. This term evokes historical context of China where some women sold not only sex but sometimes poetry, companionship. In Chinese literature these women were complex: objects of pity but possessing grace, wit, talent or tragedy. The term is considered very insensitive in today's environment.
