In traditional Chinese culture, '白绫' (a kind of white silk) was used by women to commit suicide as an indication of innocence. This nickname uses the dramatic expression to suggest the pain and despair after a breakup: at the moment I break up, I will prepare a white silk to end my life - it's clearly a way to show intense distress from a hypothetical situation.
