想太多会难过
[xiăng tài duō huì nán guò]
'Thinking too much makes me sad.' Often used to describe situations when one tends to dwell excessively on their problems (or potential ones) which ultimately leads to distress or sorrow. Sometimes it’s self-reflective, sometimes it’s a plea: to remind oneself or be reminded by others not to complicate things too much, because brooding deeply about issues does cause unnecessary emotional pain.
