相濡以沫不如相忘于江湖
[xiāng rú yĭ mò bù rú xiāng wàng yú jiāng hú]
A phrase derived from Zhuangzi, it describes two situations: when partners support each other even if they live poorly (相濡以沫); or to forget each other after separation so that they may both be better off (相忘于江湖).
