不思进取

'Bu si jin qu' means 'no intention to make progress', describing a person without ambitious aspirations for self-improvement. It may indicate contentment with the status quo, lack of drive, or even complacency, not caring much about further development, competition, or achievement. But in some other cases, it might mean that they value present moments more and prefer slow-paced living.
